I understand that I'm not really bucking the trend here, but diaryland is starting to kind of suck. Stultifying, maybe. Most of the people who write "diaries" - and as Arlette pointed out, diaries is suck a lame term - are teenage, whiny girls who bitch incessantly about their pointless lives. That being said, I understand where they're coming from - its just that I'm definitely not there anymore.
And I'm thinking that this layout isn't me, and the environment isn't me, and there's a lot of side writing projects I'd like to get started. It'd be nice to have a few different blogs, one for the creative writing I keep on promising myself to do but never start, one for my daily shitting (because lets face it, writing in a diary/blog/journal is a lot like taking a crap - its something you sometimes just get the urge to do and while it makes you feel better, most other people are usually offended by it), and maybe one for pictures. Or other things. I'm not sure.
Livejournal isn't a very exciting option either, honestly. I'm not too impressed by its capabilities, so I may be running over to blogger. I mean hey, at least its a term in common parlance now, and I think that would assuage my arrogance something fierce.
Damn, I'm Captain Thesaurus today. Next stop: an attack on the League of Evil Spelling Nazis. To the Webstermobile, Black's Law!
Hoo boy.
